Battery Backup Installation in Covina

Battery Backup in Covina.
Keep the essentials powered.

A power outage can interrupt much more than your lights. We help homeowners plan battery backup around the things that matter—from refrigeration and internet to selected equipment and everyday comfort.

Why battery backup matters

More control when the grid goes down.

During an outage or planned utility shutoff, a properly designed battery system can supply the circuits you choose to protect. That might mean keeping food cold, maintaining Wi-Fi, running key lights, or supporting a compatible pump.

You don’t have to back up everything to make a meaningful difference. Starting with essential circuits can help balance your budget, available battery capacity, and the length of time you want power to last.

Keep daily routines moving

Prioritize the refrigerator, essential outlets, lighting, and communications so an outage causes fewer disruptions.

Automatic backup options

Compatible batteries and transfer equipment can switch selected circuits to backup power automatically. Other setups use manual switching; we’ll explain the difference before you choose.

Make more use of solar

Compatible systems can store solar energy for later use. Existing solar, battery equipment, and controls must work together; solar panels alone do not necessarily provide power during an outage.

Manage energy use

Some systems let you schedule charging, monitor consumption, or use stored energy during higher-rate hours. Potential savings depend on your utility plan, usage, equipment, and settings.

Our experience & installer credentials

EcoFlow is our strongest focus.
We work with other options, too.

We’re most familiar with EcoFlow and help you understand how the battery, home panel, and selected circuits fit together. We also bring Tesla and Jackery installer certifications and familiarity with Anker products.

Certified Installer / Dealer

EcoFlow

Our primary area of familiarity. We work with EcoFlow battery backup and Smart Home Panel solutions, with model compatibility confirmed during project planning. We can discuss essential-circuit backup, equipment placement, electrical integration, and a configuration that fits your needs.

Certified Installer

Tesla

We’re Tesla certified installers. Considering Tesla energy equipment? Share the product and your project goals so we can confirm the installation requirements and scope for your property.

Certified Installer

Jackery

We’re Jackery certified installers. We can discuss compatible home backup equipment and transfer-switch integration, including which circuits to prioritize and how the selected system supplies them.

Product Familiarity

Anker SOLIX

We’re familiar with Anker products, including home backup configurations. We can review your chosen equipment, compatible connection options, and the electrical work needed to integrate it.

Choose the right level of backup

Start with what you want to keep running.

A few essential devices

A suitable portable power station may be enough for specific plug-in devices. This can be a practical starting point when you don’t need a panel-connected system.

Selected household circuits

A compatible transfer switch, backup panel, or smart panel connects battery power to chosen circuits. This supports familiar outlets and lighting without moving each appliance to the battery.

A broader home backup system

Larger systems can support more of the home when designed for the loads involved. Air conditioning, electric cooking, and EV charging require careful planning because they can use substantial power.

Commercial backup needs

For an office, shop, or other business, we can discuss selected operational loads and assess whether the proposed equipment fits the application.

Planning your installation

The right battery is only part of the solution.

We review your electrical panel, equipment location, wiring route, and backup priorities before defining the work. Where needed, the scope may include a backup load panel, compatible transfer equipment, dedicated wiring, and permit coordination.

Power and runtime are different. Power output determines what can run at once. Battery capacity, starting loads, and actual usage determine how long it can run. We plan for both instead of promising a fixed number of hours.

A panel-connected system needs appropriate transfer equipment to isolate backup circuits from the utility during an outage. Compatibility, grounding, manufacturer requirements, and applicable installation rules all matter.

If your project also needs a panel or service upgrade, EV charging, or other electrical changes, we can discuss them together.

Common questions

Know what your system will do.

Do I need solar?

Not always. Many battery systems can charge from utility power. Solar charging is another option when supported by the equipment and installation.

Will it power my whole house?

That depends on the system and connected loads. Whole-home coverage does not mean every appliance can run simultaneously or indefinitely. Essential-circuit backup may be a better fit.

Can I use equipment I already own?

Send the exact model numbers and photos. We’ll review supported connections and installation requirements before confirming a scope.

What should I send for an estimate?

Photos of your main panel and proposed equipment location, your city, the battery model you’re considering, and a list of the devices or circuits you want backed up.
